The A-Frame at Loveland Heights Cottages is a spacious riverfront home for four with a unique retro vibe. This two-bedroom home is the perfect getaway for a small family or group of friends looking for one-of-a-kind accommodations near Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains.
Two private bedrooms at The A-Frame are furnished with a queen-sized bed in each. There is one full bath with a shower and a second half bath. Both guest rooms have a window with a great view, and even better — the master suite has its own wood-burning fireplace!
The shared living space at The A-Frame includes a full kitchen, — complete with modern appliances, dishware, utensils and plenty of counter space — a sitting room with a television and arm chairs, and the dining nook in between with a table and chairs for four.
Outside, The A-Frame has a superior exterior living space with both a lower-level patio and a balcony-level sun deck. These spaces are furnished with a bistro-style table and chairs, a few sun chairs on the upper deck, and a barbecue grill for cooking out on clear nights.
Retro design features at The A-Frame set it apart from other river homes on the Big Thompson. From it’s unique roof shape to the old-fashioned black-and-white checkered floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, this home is picturesque and fun. Some of our favorite focal points include the vaulted ceilings, the triangle-shaped windows, and the pink claw-foot tub.

Rent a jeep or RV from a local vendor and take it off-road! Or, if you’re in it for the exercise, try hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting — or even a tour with llamas or on horseback. Then glide all the way up to the scenic peak of Prospect Mountain on the aerial tramway.
If you’re looking to keep it onsite and low-key, there is plenty to do on resort grounds at Loveland Heights Cottages. Cast a fishing line over the rail of your own private deck, or take a quiet stroll along our River Walk. We highly recommend sunbathing to the sound of the water.

The full balance of your stay is due upon arrival.
Cancellations made a minimum of 15 days in advance will receive a refund, less a $25 service fee.
A fee of $10 per night per person will be added for additional guests.
For family reunions: one adult over the age of 18 must stay in each cabin.

Loveland Heights Cottages in Estes Park, CO, is made up of 22 private acres along the Big Thompson River. Our quiet, rustic grounds are covered in mature pine and aspen trees that offer their shade in summer and contribute to that “away from it all” atmosphere. Our oldest cabin was built all the way back in 1898, with the rest being added here and there along the way. We now have one-, two- and three-bedroom rental options starting as low as $115/night — one of the best values you’ll find in the Rocky Mountains.
