Cabin 17 at Loveland Heights Cottages is a cozy one-bedroom vacation home with a private deck overhanging the Big Thompson River. This sweet little rental cabin in Estes Park, Colorado, offers accommodations for up to three guests near the base of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Cabin 17 has a large central living space, with sitting room windows that look out on the river bank. There is a full-length couch (which doubles as a sleeping space for one guest), as well as a television, a wing-back armchair (perfect for reading the afternoon away) and a small dining table for two.
One private guest room is furnished with a queen-sized bed. The single full bath has a shower.
One of Cabin 17’s best features is it’s spacious, modern kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils, appliances and cookware. There is a large, old-fashioned farm-style sink and a cleared counter area for prepping home-cooked meals. The little window over the sink looks out through the trees and lets in the golden afternoon light.
Cook your breakfast in our clean, white, homey kitchen, then take your meal outside and enjoy it in the open air with the sun on your face to the rushing song of the river going by. The large, custom-built back deck at Cabin 17 overhangs the Big Thompson just enough that you can do a little fishing right over the rail. We even provide you with chairs, a picnic table and a barbecue grill.
Enjoy the sun on your private deck, fish the river from shore, or take a scenic stroll along our waterfront nature trails. Loveland Heights Cottages are a wonderful place to get away from it all and forget about checking your watch for a while.
These river cottages are also just three minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park base at Estes Park, CO. You’ll be close to whitewater rafting, llama tours, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, RV and jeep rentals — pretty much any outdoor adventure activity you can think of!
You can also board the aerial tramway at Estes Park and hitch a ride to the lofty summit of Prospect Mountain.

A deposit of one-night’s rate is required to reserve the cabin.
The full balance of your stay is due upon arrival.
Cancellations made a minimum of 15 days in advance will receive a refund, less a $25 service fee.
A fee of $10 per night per person will be added for additional guests.
For family reunions: one adult over the age of 18 must stay in each cabin.
