Step into our comfortable cabin! 64 Inch Flat Screen TV. Large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen. The cabin is a great respite after a day of hiking or climbing, one of our favorite activities near Allenspark. Iron Clads is only 4 miles away. The entrance to Longs Peak and the trail to its infamous Diamond is 12 miles away. If you need cabin supplies, there is no shortage of cafes and restaurants, antique stores and souvenir shops in the area.
Sleeping arrangement: Master bedroom has a Queen Bed (bath with shower attached). Loft Bedroom has a Double bed and a 32″ single bed. (accessed by a unique metal spiral staircase.)
This comfortable base camp cabin is located between Estes Park and Lyons. It’s 7 miles south of Allenspark. Right on the river, hot tub, full kitchen for family meals.

A few miles from the cabin is where you can pick up the Peak to Peak Highway, a designated scenic highway. Since you book directly with us,we’ll provide you with a list of the pet friendly hiking trails nearby. Lumpy Ridge area with Twin Owls and Sundance in Estes Park is only 23 miles away.
Like skiing? We can tell you all about the nearby Eldora Mountain Resort -with Alpine and Nordic trails. Ask us where you can find great cross country skiing! Some of the popular hiking trails include: Hessie Trailhead, Fourth of July Trailhead, East Portal Trailhead, James Peak Lake Trailhead, Rainbow Lakes Trailhead, Sourdough Trailhead, Brainard Gateway Trailhead. You can imagine how great the fishing is. Try your luck in the backyard or venture out to Lilly Lake, a Gold Medal Fishery. Estes Park Lake is known for its enormous brown trout. You might hook a Northern Pike or Tiger Musky too.

Pet friendly. Only registered guests are permitted on the property. All day or evening guests must be approved. 2 night minimum (Mid and Value Season). Summer and Holidays have longer minimum night stays, 3-5 nights. 50% due with booking; balance due 30 days prior to arrival. One dog no charge; additional dogs $25 when approved. I scoured websites for hours looking for a place to stay and this was the best to fit what we were looking for, a quiet and a very natural, home-like setting. Never can be sure just by going by the Internet but the cabin was everything we'd hoped for!! Very clean, fresh and secluded. Perfect!
